IP | Vivi & Toto
Since then, I have created many illustrations, chat stickers, phone themes, merchandise such as keychains and stickers,
and various brand collaborations, with more still unfolding.
The characters are inspired by the stuffed animals my partner and I grew up with.
From that starting point, I see Vivi and Toto as a pair of best friends, who carry the idea that the closest partners are also, at their core, each other’s truest companions.
For me, Vivi & Toto are my little fellows who help me hold things that feel difficult to place in reality.
They travel to places I want to go but can’t (fantasy worlds that exist only in my imagination, or real-life places that feel too expensive lol);
They carry the most “brainless” silliness that I usually hide in my other work;
and they also help me show moments (my insecurities and small feelings) that I feel reluctant or even scared to share publicly.
As their journey continues into 2026, Vivi & Toto will expand into new forms,
including wearables, plush toys, comics, and other storytelling-driven projects, carrying their silliness and cuteness into new worlds.
